What does a physiotherapist do?


A physiotherapist listens, assesses, diagnoses, treats and works to prevent a wide range of physical disabilities and injuries through physical means. What Qualifications do Physiotherapist require?


To work as a physiotherapist in Australia you must have a degree in physiotherapy, this could be an undergraduate degree in Physiotherapy, masters of physiotherapy or even a Professional Doctorate of Physiotherapy. The minimum amount of study is 4 years of university. The physiotherapist must also be registered with the national registration board.
